Back in October last year, my former co-writer Michelle wrote about two sisters, Sandra Salamony and Gina Brown.
They were seeking submissions of photos with decorated cupcakes, cakes and cookies for their new book: 1,000 Ideas for Decorating Cupcakes, Cakes and Cookies. After seeing the interesting cover of the book, I was wondering if some of CakeJournals readers will be featured in the book with their sweet creations? Please share with me.

Hey Louise, thanks for posting about the submissions as that’s how I found out about it. I got 2 pics of my cookies accepted for the book, so exciting!

Gina spotted my cupcakes on Flickr and requested for submission, I was glad to do so and now they are on the print, so excited!

I was approached by the sisters and they’ve included about 10 or 11 of my cake and cookie photos. I’m excited to see other people’s work. I just had a meeting with some folks at Squires Kitchen in Surrey and may be teaching cake classes in London next year.

What a great looking book. The blue and pink cupcake on the cover with the beautiful flowers would be perfect for my daughters Sweet 16 vintage birthday party this weekend!

I provided photos of our work and am pleased that one of my most popular cakes will part of this awesome book. I am glad I saw the article written in your Journal. I can’t wait to get my copy.
