CakeJournals December favourites

Before December is running out and a new year is beginning. I will share with all of you, CakeJournal’s December favourites.

I would love to stock up with some new cookie cutters and these two will find their way into my cookie cutter collection. First a pretty teacup cookie cutter

The next one is a cupcake cookie cutter. Even though I have made my own cupcake cookie template (simply because I could not find a decent one that I liked). This cutter have just the right cupcake shape and I can always cut off the candle if I want to.

The cookie cutters are from Blossom Sugar Art who also have some sweet flower moulds.

Next up is from one of my favourite blogs that I often visit. Torie Jayne, a UK girl who writes about beautiful interiors. Torie also loves to bake cakes and other sweet treats and she have made this incredible beautiful Winter Woodland Christmas cake for this gorgeous Winter Woodland dessert table.

If you browse through her Winter Woodland theme, you will find directions and how-to’s on how she have made the cake decorations for the cake but you will also other sweet ideas and inspiration.

My last december favourite dont have anything to do with cake, but is simply a close up photo of some of our pinewoods that we have in our garden.

For the last two days they (and the rest of the garden) have been decorated with this icy cold and frosty look.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year and the best wishes for 2011.

Happy Caking!

Louise
