Peanut Butter Lover Desserts

Hey y’all! I am so thrilled and honored to become a regular contributor here at CakeJournal.com. Get ready for lots of delicious dessert inspiration to make your days just a tad bit sweeter! This is such a natural fit for me, because I absolutely L-O-V-E all things sweet. I blog over at Be Sweet, my happy place for all things desserts, crafts, gift ideas, and party inspiration.

I strive to fill life with joy, bringing a little ray of sunshine and positivity wherever I go. You may notice that my blog is very NYC focused at the current time… Well, that’s because I am finishing up an 11-week adventure working for Martha Stewart Living in the city! When I return to my home-sweet-home of Nashville, my daily blogging focus will indeed be all about living the sweet life.

Today, I am sharing dessert ideas for all of you peanut butter lovers {including myself}! There is something so wonderful about the often-used sweet salty combination that gets me every time. Anyone else?! I sure hope I’m not alone!

Peanut Butter Desserts

Peanut Butter Lover Desserts:

1: These Bite-sized Peanut Butter M&M Pretzel Cookies look perfect for fall and all of the fun that awaits in the coming months. I know I’m going to be making these for end of summer picnics, football tailgates (just change up the M&Ms to match your team colors), and back to school lunchbox treats.

2: I’m always up for easy, yet delicious recipes. This Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Blender Ice Cream recipe is almost too good to be true. First, you make it in a blender… it doesn’t get much easier than that! And secondly, it’s vegan, which can be really difficult to find {especially ice cream with uncompromised taste}. Refreshing!

3: Monster cookies are my favorite. If I had to pick one kind of cookie forever, it would absolutely be good ‘ole monsters, which is why I’m so in love with this recipe for Monster Cookie Bars! I actually made these earlier this week, and they are just as good as they look, even better, if that’s possible! And, you can totally mix up the add-ins, using up whatever you have in your pantry. Not a chocolate lover? No problem, use a variety of nuts and berries instead. Your kids want something crazy sweet? Why not add in a variety of cut up candy bars? The possibilities are endless!

4: This Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie is so decadent and reminds me of a professional ice cream cake! I think this would be a delicious treat to whip up for an end-of summer backyard bash, when it’s still warm enough for a cool ice cream treat. The top looks so party-ready, just waiting for someone to dive right in!

5: These Peanut Butter Cookie Cups are another personal favorite, and actually, are my very own recipe! I grew up loving peanut butter blossom cookies around the holiday season, and wanted to add a new twist on my grandmother’s classic recipe. These bites of goodness are baked in mini muffin tins {cute liners and all} with dark chocolate peanut butter cups. They’re just as delicious as they sound, and will be devoured in no time!

6: These Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies are just so pretty. I love how dainty they are! And, the base is a homemade Ritz cracker. The perfect sweet salty combination.

7: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups + cheesecake + pretzel crust… Does it get any better? This recipe for Peanut Butter Cup Pretzel Cheesecake Bars has my name written all over it. They look mouthwateringly good, and I cannot wait to make these!

8: This recipe for Peanut Butter Caramel Cupcakes combines the perfect amount of sweet and salty, with a pop of cake mixed in. Perfect for a birthday celebration or “just because” sweet treat.

9: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are delicious by themselves, but even better when mixed into brownies. This recipe for Reese’s Peanut Butter Brownies looks moist, very chocolate-y, and even more peanut buttery-y. Yum!
