Corn starch duster

I have made this little duster filled with corn starch. I use it when I am rolling out my sugar paste, making sugar flowers ect. That way the sugar paste wont stick to the board or rolling pin. You just tap it lightly on the surface before starting rolling.

It is very easy to make, learn how to make it here.

I made one too but using a panthyhose (tights for you I think), it’s great and before that I used to waste so much corn starch. What I did was cut the foot off a new pantyhose and filled it with cornstarch, then made a knot and left a bit for a “handle”. When it’s running low I just undo the knot and fill it back up.
