How to make Frankenstein and Jack O’Lantern marshmallow pops

One of my favorite things to make on Halloween are marshmallow pops. They are fun to make and even more fun to eat…hehe.

They are also easy enough that kids can help make them. I think it’s a good way to keep them busy :)

Today, I will show you how to make 2 types of marshmallow pops: Jack O’Lantern and Frankenstein! The Frankenstein pops are inspired by these pops that I saw at The Decorated Cookie.

Let’s get started…

You will need the following supplies:

Big marshmallows
Lollipop sticks
Toothpicks
Black edible marker
Round confetti sprinkles
Chocolate sprinkles
Green melted chocolate
Orange melted chocolate

Step 1:
Push lollipop sticks into marshmallows.

Step 2:
Melt some white chocolate and color it orange.
Dip your marshmallow pop into this chocolate until it’s fully covered.
Push these pops into a styrofoam block and wait for the chocolate to dry (it only takes a few minutes).

Step 3:
Use a black edible marker to make the eyes, nose and mouth of these Jack O’ Lantern pops.

Step 4:
To make pops that look like Frankenstein’s monster, follow step 1 and 2 again but color your chocolate green or use green candy melts.
Let the pops dry.
Then, pour a drop of melted chocolate on top of your marshmallow.

Step 5:
Immediately, dip it into a bowl of chocolate sprinkles.
The sprinkles will stick to the melted chocolate.
Brush off any excess.
