I live in Texas and what Louise is referring to as ‘cardboard circles’, we call ‘cake drums’. A cake drum is made of several pieces of cardboard, glued together and covered in foil paper or something else.

My daughter will be able to show off her character action figures that she has sewed that go with her comic books in a very unique way. I plan to put the display on a lazy susan to make it “interactive” to attract more customers to her side of the table that I rented! My side has a unusual display too.
Hope to see some of you there! The table is Shirley’s Creative Designs & Dream Angel Paradise and Tech Warrior Comic Books with her action figures.

I am making a cake pop wedding cake for a friend and having a difficult time finding a styrofoam cake dummy. I’ve experimented on different types of styrofoam pieces and have found that some are very hard, and some too loose. What kind of styrofoam do you use, and who is the supplier? The cake will be holding 360 cake pops, 5 tiers, so it has to be quite sturdy. The dimensions have to be 5″ high, with the tiers 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″, and 16″ diameter. I tried with a very hard piece of EPS foam and it was nearly impossible forcing the lollipop stick into the material. I’d appreciate any information or advice, thanks!
