I have a wedding cake I’m doing in September and the bride is requesting a fantasy flower with 4 graduated sized flowers in 4 shades of purple. I will be using this tutorial to create her flower.

Add the small pieces of foam in between the petals and then let it dry for 2-3 days. Depending on how dry you want the flower to be. Remember that gum paste dries faster than regular fondant.

You can affix it to the cake with a little royal icing or edible glue.
