In reply to <a href="http://cakejournal.com/tutorials/how-to-make-carrot-cake-pops/#comment-78516">Helen</a>.

Hi Helen - I bake a cake (whatever your usual recipe is should work), then let it cool completely. When it's ready, I crumble it into a large bowl then mix in buttercream and squish it together until I get a texture similar to Play-Doh. I start with maybe half a cup then add a little more at a time until it's all moist, but not too soft. You want it stiff enough to hold shape. I hope that helps!

How awesome! But can you tell me a little more about the cake ball dough? Do you just squish up cake and mix it with frosting until it holds a shape?

Thanks,
Helen

Hi Lena - I don't know about the international shipping availability but I've ordered them from Amazon (https://amzn.to/16sXMfO) or CopperGifts.com (https://www.coppergifts.com/cookie-cutters/pc/Decorating-Squeeze-Bottles-c195.htm). I'm almost positive they come with the tips but if not, any standard decorating tip (such as the Wilton tips) will fit. Best, Rose

Hi Louise,
That looks great.
Could you please let me know where can I get the Small Squeeze Bottle with #2 or #3 Frosting Tip? I'm in south Africa and I tried to get them and here I cannot find them. If we can buy them online, could you send me the URL?
Thank you,
Lena

Hey Rose! What a fabulous effort! An inventive, refreshing change from the usual bunnies. Heh, I'd like to see a farmer cake pop next to complete the easter farm scene. I reblogged this recipe at my site :)
