I made valentine hearts for cupcakes. I topped the cupcakes just before leaving for my meeting. When I removed the lid of the cardboard carrier by Wilton, my hearts were wilted. I made the hearts 1 week before I used them. I am sure the moisture of the icing caused the wilt, but what can I do to prevent this in the future? I sometimes have to deliver them and have the hostess display them so I wouldn't be able to put them on at the site.

Thank you so much for your help!
