When it's very warm I would not keep anything out for too long. It will get soft in the summer. I have not had problems storing cakes and cupcakes in the refrigerator when decorated with IMBC

Hi, I just found out about this site and loved it.
I'd like to know a little more about how to store the italian maringue buttercream. Is it suitable for summer creations or do I need to keep everything in the refrigerator???

Sandy: I know that there are a "chemical baking" explanation for that. I have not had the problem for long. My experience was because of the butter in the recipe. I never use recipes that call for equal parts of butter and sugar. I always use those with less butter. Also you can try and add 1-2 tbsp of flour to you mixture to see if that helps.

I know that I once read on a blog about this issue but I cant remember where it was from.

Well said Abbi. As someone who has made some instructional videos and blogs and regularly replies to help queries, I can vouch for the fact that it does indeed take quite a bit of time.
We do this because we love what we do and we try to help others who share our passion but maybe dont have the same experience.
Keep up the good work Louise.

CAKE GODDESS-
I dont think that what you are saying is really an appropriate thing to post.
I will inform YOU that you did infact spell sentences
incorrectly.
You may also be aware that the lady who publishes this site, takes time and effort for people who are eager to learn about all things cake, and she does it for FREE.
Maybe you should take your own advice.

Your site is very cute and somewhat informative, but, please, I implore you, learn how to spell and how to write well. You significantly lower the quality of your site with so many glaring mistakes. Examples of these are: "aswell" - this is actually two words, as well; using "there" for "they're" - be careful of this, it's very basic. Also, your run-on sentances are hard to follow. Sorry for being a stickler but you need your communication skills to match the look of your site. Thanks.
