Amazing cake! Being Mexican and having grown up with “calaveritas de azúcar” as we call those Dia de Muertos treats, I can honestly say, this cake is amazing. I’d just say one thing, I was born in Mexico and lived there until the age of 26, I now live in Spain and have been for 15 years now. A lot of times pepole in the different countries confuse Mexican with Spanish, I’d just say there is very little (or no) Spanish heritage in Dia de Muertos, the Sapnish in fact are quite shocked at how we turn death into such a festive occassion. But thank you for another wonderful post, and for this lovey cake! Happy Halloween and 2 de Noviembre!!
