I am an organizing and cake decorating freak, and I am now obsessing with your PDF tutorials. :)

I have already showed this website to several friends who are all interested as well!!!

Your website is awesome, by the way. I am officially obsessed. :)

Jackie P: I had to go back and look what he wrote. I think that the problem with that recipe is that there are no glucose syrup. its only water and then the dry ingredients. I tried to google a rolled fondant recipe and the recipes that came up also included: gelantine, white fat and glycerin. I know that there are recipes that dont use gelantine at all. So I think that you need to tweak it by adding some glycose syrup, glycerin and some white fat along with the rest. I would add the wet ingrediens first an then the powdered sugar. Wait with the gum until you can knead the "dough". This is the recipe: https://allrecipes.com/recipe/rolled-fondant/detail.aspx

Hi Louise,
I have made JMR's recipe for fondant, but somehow it sets very hard. Its great for working with but is there anything I can change in the recipe so it sets soft enough to cut?

Thanks.

This is wonderful news. Your blog is one of my first points of reference for any cake decorating I do.
