Best Biscotti Recipe Ideas

by Louise Leave a Comment

My hot beverage intake seems to double once November rolls around. The biting winter breeze and need for big scarves results in me reaching for the coffee pot or tea kettle on a much more regular basis. The perfect accompaniment to a cup of steaming comfort? Biscotti!

These recipes are playful and modern takes on an Italian classic. Make sure to serve them with a hot drink for dunking (the best part, if you ask me).

Dried lavender and fresh, fragrant orange zest form the punchy flavour base of these biscotti. Seriously delicious and ideal with a cup of Earl Grey! <Lavender Orange Biscotti. (Via Edible Sound Bites.)

Made with whole-wheat flour, Chocolate-Raspberry Biscotti are completely acceptable at breakfast. Worth waking up for! (Via A Brown Table.)

Gluten-free recipes are taking over! Ginger Almond Biscotti are rich and nutty thanks to this recipe’s gluten-free status (it cleverly uses almond flour in the dough). (Via Running to the Table.)

Cloying desserts are out! Faintly sweet treats are in! Maple Pecan Biscotti are subtle and sophisticated, with a good bit of crunch! (Via Sweet Pea’s Kitchen.)

While some biscotti are best enjoyed mid-morning with a cup of tea, others claim the status of dessert. Salted Caramel Chocolate Biscottiare indulgent, delicious and undeniably worthy of a dessert course. (Via Jelly Toast.)

Think kids don’t like biscotti? Think again. What child could say no to the obvious awesomeness of these Oreo Biscotti? (Via Bake Me Blush.)
