Petit Fours with Easter gum paste decoration

April 24, 2011 by Louise 15 Comments

Petit Fours
I have enjoyed myself in the kitchen baking sweet Petit Fours. Inside the Petit Fours is a traditional vanilla pound cake. I have used a recipe from Martha Stewart for the purple Petit Four icing. I found it really good to work with.

Petit FourThe Petit Fours are decorated with small Easter eggs and mini daffodils, that I have made out of gum paste.

They were almost too pretty to eat. Happy Easter to all of you!

Happy Caking!

Louise

I just love Petit Fours and these are so pretty and charming. When I was little my Mum worked in a very fancy hotel and would bring petit fours home for me…how lucky was I??
Happy Easter and enjoy your Petit Fours.
