by Louise Leave a Comment

If you’re anything like me, you love the wonderfully delicious sweet-salty combination. I also really love texture in cookies and other desserts. So, why not combine the two, and create a sweet-salty really yummy sweet treat using candy bar pieces throughout?!

With so many varieties of candy bars, you are sure to find something that makes your mouth water and crave that second bite!

Today, you’ll find 9 of my favorite dessert recipes that incorporate candy bars! Can you figure out which type of candy is used in each one?!

Candy Bar Dessert Recipes

1: The ooey gooey caramel of the Rolo pieces makes these Peanut Butter Rolo Cookies so delicious! Eat while warm to savor the melted goodness inside.

2: These Mini Heath Bar Cheesecakes are perfect for a dinner party. I always love to serve individual desserts to guests, it makes them feel so special! The Heath Bar pieces on top really add that “crunch” and multiple flavor dimensions.

3: I remember when the Take 5 bar came out. I was SO excited, because it combined so many of my favorite things… peanut butter, chocolate, pretzels… These Take 5 Cookies are ah-maz-ing! I am hungry just looking at them!

4: For a lighter sweet treat, try combining chocolate and popcorn, like this Milky Way Popcorn recipe. I love the use of sweet Milky Way pieces with the salty popcorn, and how the candy bar really melts into the hot popcorn. Yum!

5: Coconut is one of my newest favorite baking ingredients. It’s even better when coated in chocolate in Almond Joys! Use it when baking up these Almond Joy Cookies!

6: Snickers + chocolate sure is a perfect combination. Serve these Snickers Bar Brownie Bites warm for a comforting treat or frozen for a refreshing snack on a hot summer day!

7: Kit Kat candy bars offer so many different textures, which is why these Kit Kat Cookies look delicious. I love how chewy and thick the cookies look, and can’t wait to try them!

8: Does this recipe for Twix Chocolate Chip + Fudge Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars need any other explanation? Heavenly! The Twix goodness combined with so many rich flavors makes this a definite “splurge” treat!

9: Reese’s offers such a delicious combination no matter how many times you try it. Try this recipe for Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Reeses Cup Cookies for a new spin on an old classic.
