by Louise 1 Comment

Frankenstein cookies

Today, I will be showing you how to make Frankenstein’s monster cookies for Halloween.

These are really easy to make and you can give them any expressions you like. You can make them look really happy or silly or even scary.

To make them, you will need the following supplies:

Square shaped cookies (I used graham crackers. You can even use square shaped sugar cookies)
Square cutter (About the same size as your cookies)
Light green fondant
Corn syrup or royal icing
Melted chocolate
Paintbrush
Chocolate sprinkles
Round and oval sprinkles (I make my own sprinkles. It’s very easy.)
Black edible marker
Rolling pin

And here are the steps:

Step 1: Start off by rolling green fondant.

Step 2: Use the square cutter to cut out a square piece.

Step 3: Brush come corn syrup or royal icing on top of your cookie.

Step 4: Gently place the fondant piece on top until it sticks into place.

Step 5: Draw out little eyeballs on 2 round sprinkles.

Step 6: Stick them into place by brushing some corn syrup.

Step 7: Also, stick an oval sprinkle in the center for the nose.

Step 8: Now, use a black marker to draw the mouth and stitch marks here and there.

Step 9: Brush some melted chocolate on the top of your cookie.

Step 10: Dip this area into a bowl of chocolate sprinkles until your Frankenstein’s head is fully covered.

And you are done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial 🙂

Happy caking everyone!
