Birthday cupcakes

Birthday Cupcakes

These are some of the cupcakes I made for nieces birthday. I also made some mini cupcakes as well with birthday candles. They are decorated with royal icing and lots of sprinkles, dragees and sanding sugar. I think they are so girly looking:)

The chocolate cupcakes on the photos is a new recipe I tried this time and they dont rise that much like the other chocolate recipe I use. But they tasted great anyway.

I also made some plain vanilla that you can see in my cake gallery.

Happy Caking!

Louise

Normally I have only experienced this with some vanilla cc recipes. My conclusion is that it’s the amount of butter that makes the problems. I have had big success with the vanilla cc recipe from Joy of baking: https://www.joyofbaking.com/VanillaCupcakes.html Good luck
